We are currently exploring designs for a new residence for a local family, focused on creating open, connected spaces that reflect the relaxed lifestyle synonymous with living in Brisbane. The concept prioritises expansive living, dining, and kitchen areas that could flow seamlessly onto a back deck, fostering light, air, and informal entertaining.

Our early investigations consider retaining and celebrating key features of the existing house, such as a distinctive brick chimney, while introducing a sense of openness and modern functionality. Spatial arrangements and material ideas are being explored to ensure the home feels warm, welcoming, and harmonious with its context.

The project aims to balance contemporary living with the home’s relaxed character, providing spaces that support family life, connection, and the subtropical Brisbane lifestyle.
